Did you know that over 80% of requests for a Santa Claus come in the months of November and December? Sadly, over 70% of these requests go unanswered. Why? The answer is very simple. There are just not enough Santa Claus portrayal artists to answer these requests. Many Santas are already fully booked by the time November and December roll around. The 2nd Saturday in December is the most requested day of the entire year for a Santa Claus. This is for several reasons. 1st it is a weekend day. Weekends are by far more requested than are weekdays. And this makes for no surprise to anyone. But the request for the 2nd Saturday in particular is due to the fact that it is far enough after Thanksgiving, while maintaining a fair amount of time before Christmas; making it the most requested day of the year.

This year there are only 3 full weekends in December before Christmas further shrinking the dates that Santas are available. Santas around the world have been looking very closely this year to their schedules and the many potential conflicts that this shortened holiday season creates. Many have encouraged repeat clients to book their dates well in advance to avoid scheduling conflicts or worse…being left without a Santa!
