This has been one busy, exciting, and productive week. Even though Christmas is months away, my days have been as packed as Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve. Between attending an incredible entrepreneur summit, sharing insights with fellow Santas from around the world, and working on a project that’s close to my heart, I’ve barely had a moment to slow down—but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

The “Start at the Top” summit was a major highlight. Three days, six hours each, full of learning, inspiration, and connecting with others who are building something meaningful. I walked away with new ideas, fresh motivation, and plenty of notes to sift through. Being Santa may be about magic and tradition, but it’s also about running a business—and events like this help me do that even better.

Another exciting moment this week was a Zoom meeting with Santas from all over the world! The topic? AI and how it’s changing our portrayal of Santa. I had the chance to share what I’ve learned about AI for about half an hour, and it was amazing to see so many Santas curious and open to new ways of enhancing the magic. Whether it’s helping with storytelling, organization, or creating new ways to connect with families, AI is another tool in our Santa bag of tricks.

On top of all that, I dedicated some hours this week to working on a big project that I hope will become my life’s work. I have been over a year on the project so far and only yesterday began sharing it with my closest of friends. It’s still in the early stages, but I’m putting a lot of time, energy, and love into it. I will share more as I progress further with it. I think it’s going to be something truly magical.

Even with all the meetings and projects, I’ve been keeping up with everything else—brainstorming ideas, refining my website, and planning for the upcoming season. Santa work doesn’t stop when the holidays are over. There’s always something to improve, new ways to bring joy, and exciting opportunities to explore.

As I wrap up this busy week, I find myself both energized and grateful. The work of a Santa Claus portrayal artist is about so much more than donning a red suit—it’s about building a legacy of joy and wonder that lasts well beyond December. And with every event, every project, and every heartfelt conversation, I feel one step closer to making that vision a reality. Here’s to the adventures ahead, and may the spirit of Christmas shine brightly all year long!
