Creating the perfect Christmas photo set takes time, planning, and an eye for detail. At Father Christmas of the Three Mountains, I’m preparing to build a vintage winter wonderland, featuring my 1914 Portland Cutter Sleigh, nine flocked pencil Christmas trees, and winter-themed backdrops inside a 13×20 enclosed carport. The floor will be covered with cotton batting “snow” and other faux snow props to create a truly immersive experience. Every detail must be carefully chosen to ensure the set is both visually stunning and practical for professional photographers.
Bringing this vision to life requires thoughtful curation of props, ensuring the perfect balance between realism and holiday magic. I’ve spent time brainstorming, gathering materials, and planning the best way to arrange each element. Starting early will allow flexibility for adjustments, ensuring that the set provides an ideal holiday photo opportunity for families and photographers alike.
Over the coming weeks, I will be transforming a simple carport into a North Pole-worthy scene. Each step of the process—from positioning the trees to setting the sleigh just right—will help create a storybook setting where visitors feel as though they’ve stepped into a timeless Christmas moment. The goal is to capture the magic of the season and enhance Santa Claus interactions.
Once the set is complete, I’ll take photos of the space to share with photographers hoping that they will want a unique and immersive holiday backdrop. If you’re interested in booking sessions, stay tuned for updates. This holiday season, I’m excited to bring this vision to life and create cherished memories and stunning photographs in a magical winter wonderland!
