Welcome to Father Christmas of the Three Mountains. My name is Joshua Carlile, though many throughout the Pacific Northwest know me as Father Christmas of the Three Mountains—a premier, real-bearded, and authentically trained Santa Claus portrayal artist serving Clackamas and East Multnomah counties in Oregon since November of 2022.

What began as a heartfelt calling has grown into a full-time mission to bring wonder, kindness, and genuine Christmas magic to families, communities, and organizations across Clackamas and East Multnomah counties. Every visit—whether quiet and intimate or full of festive excitement—is an opportunity to honor the timeless spirit of Santa Claus in the most authentic way possible.

I’m proud to serve on the Board of Directors for Santa’s Pack, the local chapter of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas (IBRBS). I am also an active member of the Worldwide Santa Claus Network, the largest professional Santa organization in the world. Through the WSCN, I’ve written numerous articles for the digital magazine Santa Claus Now, and the privilege of becoming the first Santa to publish a full-length, 300-page professional training book through the Network—an in-depth resource for portrayal artists across the globe.

My creative work extends beyond the suit as well. I authored the children’s story “The Story of Yulbock,” and developed The Nice List, a widely loved Santa prop used by more than 80 Santas nationwide to elevate their storytelling sessions and home visits.

Whether I’m greeting families in their homes, bringing joy to corporate and community events, collaborating with photographers, writing to inspire the next generation of Christmas performers, or teaching the craft I love, my mission never changes:
